Size: 70.7 MBElectronic music producers (especially hip-hop) have long known that classic samplers (such as Akai and E-MU) had their own character and Sound: They added "grit" and "color" to the samples and loops they played, making them "fat" and helping them sit well in the mix. This sonic coloration was due to the encoding methods, lower sampling rates and bit depths, and conversion circuits used by these early samplers. Decimort recreates this coloration and adds the magic that vintage samplers added to any loop, any bassline, or any sound played through them! On one hand, Decimort is an emulation of a vintage sampler, and on the other, it's the perfect bit-crusher with a filter that can be adjusted to extreme settings for dramatic results.
